Account Executive – Software Solutions

Must have a Technical Solutions Based Sales Background !!!

We are a leading provider of Autodesk software solutions and the largest North American Autodesk Authorized Training Center® (ATC) partner. All of our locations are supported by a vast pool of engineering resources focused on developing real-life business solutions for their local clients. 
We are looking to add an Account Executive nationwide. The Account Executive will have approximately 200 names accounts and will be highly skilled at both lead generation and relationship building.  The Account Executive will have knowledge of technology and business to business sales and account management experience. 

Expectations/Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting for new clients and developing stronger relationships with existing clients
  • Identifying client needs and opportunities where our products and services will improve client productivity
  • Achieving expected activity goals and gross profit targets
  • Increasing our visibility in the industry and provide marketing with competitive and industry information
  • Presenting to C-Level executives
  • Assisting our technical and engineering group in development, sales, and delivery of high-quality client support I would take this out
  • Managing approximately 200 accounts
  • Accountability to manage activity in SalesForce.com
  • Weekly team meeting and 1/1

 
Candidate Requirements/Preferences:

  • Experience in an outside sales position with territory responsibility
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with business to business sales
  • Post-secondary diploma or 2-4 year degree (preferred but not required)
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience using MS Office in a Windows environment
  • Experience selling into the Engineering/MCAD/CAE/PLM market (ideal but not required)
  • Experience in Solutions Sales
  • Experience in Technical Sales
  • Familiarity with Civil Engineering and Architecture (ideal but not required)
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Channel (ideal but not required)
  • Independent

 
Client Requirements:

  • Must not have only channel sales in background, must have sold to end user
  • No job hopping, must have displayed some tenure in past positions
  • Must not have a non-compete
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years+ of overall sales experience with at least 3 of the years in technology sales, business to business sales
    • Must not be too transactional, should possess solution based selling
    • Must have some outside sales experience, cannot be all inside sales
    • We must know current compensation in detail

 
Compensation & Benefits:

  • Average Base is $50,000-$60,000
  • $1500 nonrecoverable monthly draw up to 6 months
  • Commissions average 15% (vary dependent upon product) can realistically earn 6 figures in their first year ($90-100K average 1st year earnings)
  • Year 2 is realistic to earn $120,000-$140,000
  • Year 3 is realistic to earn $150,000+

Training:

  • All of our new hires get assigned a mentor to help them integrate and support them in a variety of ways
  • We have dedicated resources to ensuring new employees have a quick and effective ramp up period
  • We run a 2 month blended onboarding program that combines live face to face training, web based and self-paced training
  • Employees are trained on our internal tools, industry and product backgrounds, our service offerings, and best practices
  • Reps are given the chance to play an active role in their own education through role play, and live presentations that are integrated into the onboarding
  • Beyond onboarding for new hires, throughout the year veteran reps are given opportunities to continue their education through ongoing activities

 
 
 
Salary : $50,000 – $60,000
