Reporting to the CSO…our client is looking for a super talented and experienced Director – West Coast Sales to join the team as they continue to expand on its stellar growth and industry leading position as a data driven, business intelligence focused Telematics SaaS company. 

MUST RESIDE IN A MAJOR CITY ON THE WEST COAST

Position Overview:

  • Experience successfully building high performing regional sales teams in the SaaS software world; optimally within fleet telematics or correlating fleet automation software industries. 
  • Focus has been on large market/enterprise new logo acquisition.
  • Possess a player/coach mentality and be passionate about closing business not standing at their desk.
  • Responsible for meeting and/or exceeding the company’s annual revenue and TCV booking quota for assigned region.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, developing and managing a successful team of Regional Large Market Sales Executives that consistently exceed annual revenue quota for the assigned region.  

Requirements:

  • Manage the sales teams, operations and resources of region
  • Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Utilize Salesforce to capture data related to customer and prospect interactions
  • Monitor prospect, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to CSO
  • Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful regional marketing campaigns
  • Drive and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • Travel for in-person meetings with clients

Salary : $150,000 – $250,000
