Our client is looking for an Interior Designer with a desire for growth and advancement with a rapidly growing, nationally recognized company. Strongly desire experience in the Senior Living and / or Hospitality Industries. This individual will participate in the complete design process for large projects, both newly constructed and renovated.  The Interior Designer is responsible for:

  • Utilize exceptional design skills, conduct programming and conceptual design efforts developing innovative design solutions to complex problems
  • Assist with interior design phases of varying sizes and complexities from schematic through construction
  • Help develop the project design appropriate to the project scope and owners budget
  • participate in making sure of all project deliverables including comprehensive interior design package with architectural detailing
  • Responsible for meeting overall design schedule for assigned projects
  • Design  or provide input (depending upon department workload) into the detailing of project elements and the design or detailing of custom features on other projects
  • Assist with the design and selection of the furniture package through owner approval; direct and approve specifications to be handed off to the procurement department
  • Have comprehensive knowledge of finishes, furniture, and all material appropriate for the environments for the varied lifestyles and different levels of care in a CCRC
  • Participate  in design presentations to the clients
  • Partner and collaborate with individuals throughout the company to create and support a strong team-oriented approach


  • 3 -7 years experience as an interior designer
  • Four year undergraduate degree from an accredited interior design program
  • NCIDQ certification
  • LEED accreditation is a plus
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, working knowledge of Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-up, and other design software
  • Strong Presentation skills
  • Knowledge of relevant codes
  • Ability to cultivate, foster, and nurture both client and vendor relationships
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and team building skills
  • MS Office
  • Some travel – primarily along the East Coast
