Our firm is in search of a qualified candidate with 5+ years of Medicare and/or Special Needs Health Plan experience. Preferably with a Medicare Health Plan. A Bachelor’s degree is required. In this role you will be Managing the development, implementation and administration of Medicare Special Needs Product (SNP) and you will be coordinating with Corporate on execution of Medicare SNP strategy. In this role you will have direct reports, thus you should have strong leadership experience.
To be considered you should have operating experience including medical management, marketing, provider network, operations and compliance. Previous management experience including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of staff.
It is a plus and PREFERRED if you have the following experience:
- Past formal leadership abilities in a matrix environment
- Bid development/benefit filing experience
- New market implementation for Medicare Advantage
- Exposure to HPMS (Health Plan Management System)
This role does require travel up to 20%. You will be a liaison between the corporate Medicare product team and Health Plan; also liaison between organization and State and Federal points of contact.
