We have been engaged to locate a Plant Manager for the daily operations of a new facility near Chattanooga TN who has significant experience with textiles, fiber composites, or related products.
This is a significant opportunity for the right leader to join the team and lead through several significant change initiatives. The Plant Manager for this role will need a proven track record of delivering results in a high-performance manufacturing environment and have no aversion to rolling up their sleeves and doing what it takes to make change happen. In this role you will partner with the VP of Ops to align their manufacturing functions with the organization's strategic initiatives. You will need to have experience increasing production, and improving quality & lead times in a strong safety minded culture that embraces a zero-incident mentality. This Plant Manager will optimize day-to-day operations across all aspects of manufacturing including maintenance, scheduling, and purchasing. You will manage operational budgets and allocate resources as needed and be able to partner with finance on forecasting, variances, cost accounting, and identification of gaps. In addition, you will partner with product development to ensure the go-to-market strategy is executed for all new products and platforms. As this is a new facility, with a lot of capacity, this is a challenging role that requires someone who is excited about devoting their experience and drive across all aspects in a visible and engaged way. · 10+ Years Plant Management experience within Textiles or Related Industry
· BA/BS in Engineering, Operations Management or similar field of study
· Experience in Process Management/Engineering and Quality Assurance
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment, handling multiple challenges & priorities
· Strong Lean Toolbox
