Our client is an industry leader.  Due to the ongoing growth of the organization they are seeking to attract a Territory Sales Manager to provide the following:
 
 
Description
 
Position Summary: Technical sales position responsible for growing sales revenue and market share in a territory through direct sales efforts and coordinated team support at existing and targeted accounts.
 
Responsibilities:
 
•Achieve revenue objectives in company’s adhesives and equipment at specified existing and target customers through both direct selling efforts and via sales partners
•Identify, cultivate and close new business opportunities
•Coordinate with global account teams to capture Key Global Accounts and Strategic Accounts, both in territory and overseas.
 •Support direct customer, distributor and sales representative sales growth activities in the territory
 
•Plan and coordinate informative events for targeted customer audiences that provide compelling information on the Companies technologies offerings, products, and services.
 
•Provide regular sales and customer activity updates via the company’s CRM system, as well through defined monthly activity reports and tracking tools
 
•Deliver periodic, current-year sales forecasts for the territory categorized by customer and product line
 
•Identify and help define new product development opportunities that arise at key customers and at key target accounts, and communicate these to both Marketing and R&D.
 
•Continuous, personal improvement in professional sales skills, including:
Market coverage: growth funnel/pipeline, account planning, and account management
Personal Selling skills: positioning, objection handling, negotiating and closing
Expertise in Company products and customers’ manufacturing processes
Consultative Solution selling and Value-Added selling
 

 
 
Qualifications
 
Skills/Qualifications:
 
•B.S. or B.A. degree required; degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or related disciplines are strongly preferred
 
•Minimum of 2 years of successful B2B direct sales experience to OEM’s in a technical industry. Experience relating to specialty materials is highly desirable
 
•Established set of professional selling skills, inclusive of opportunity funnel/pipeline management, account management, personal selling skills, consultative selling and Value-Added selling
 
•Self-motivated, energetic performer with solid analytical, planning, communication, and computer skills
 
 
 
           
 
 
Salary : $75,000 – $125,000
