Bookkeeper- CPA Firm – Phoenix, Arizona  

 

Requires current (or very recent) CPA firm experience

 

Growing, mid sized local CPA Firm is seeking a full-time bookkeeper with a minimum of 3 years experience

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting clients with their monthly banking and payroll reconciliations.  Inputting and analyzing accounts transactions via bank downloads
  2. Perform general bookkeeping duties including posting journal entries to the general ledger and coding expenses.
  3. Prepare payroll tax reports on a quarterly and annual basis
  4. Prepare monthly sales tax reports
  5. Work well in a team environment
  6. Maintain client relationships

 

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 2 year degree or equivalent education and work experience
  2. Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks including QuickBooks Online and Intuit payroll
  3. Use of bank account and credit card downloads
  4. MS Office including word and excel
  5. Ability to work independently
  6. Well organized and detail oriented
