My client is a well established and stable manufacturer of custom automated manufacturing equipment / production solutions. Global sales for the entire business is around $500MM annually. They are presently seeking an INSIDE SALES ENGINEER to join their Large Aftermarket Controls group. They will be part of a dedicated sales team focused on the Aftermarket business associated with complex automated capital equipment.
Ideally the Inside Sales Engineer will be located at one or the other of two manufacturing operations, located in Central Upstate New York near Syracuse, or Northern New Jersey; West of Mahwah. However, my client will seriously consider remotely located professionals East of the Mississippi, who work for their direct competitors, a similar custom capital equipment/automation manufacturer, and/or an automation systems integrator.

- Must have at least 4 to 20 years of sales engineering experience associated with some form of custom automated manufacturing equipment that utilizes some kind of motion control, electric motors / drive technology. Experience working for a control systems integration company or PLC company like Siemens will be very seriously considered.
- A BS degree in a technical field is strongly preferred, but not required.
- Strong knowledge involving industrial controls and drives is strongly preferred.
- Technical Sales experience is a must.
COMP: $70K to $110K base salary depending on experience. Quarterly Team Commission on top of base. Last year total commission payout was $16K. Can go higher.
