Are you an accomplished software/hardware, cloud engineer looking for something more challenging? Would you like to have more of your job consist of collaborating with international open source communities to further optimize some of the most high performance and well-known open source projects, such as Tensorflow or Finagle?
This is up to a Principle Engineer (level depends on your skills and experience) position with one of the United States’ most successful cloud software hosting platforms. The team is part of a multinational cloud vendor with extraordinary benefits and compensation. They have been incredibly successful at beating other companies in the cost/performance/stability metrics, which has won them several billion dollar plus hosting contracts for major stock exchanges and other very large and well known software platforms which must have the highest performance possible. This is a fast growing team in our clients’ highest performing business unit with a deadline of the end of October ’22 to hire.
Due to this success in landing more hosting contracts they are looking for advanced software engineers to join and grow with the company. We are looking for very high performance engineers with demonstrated specialization in areas like:
Machine learning
Assembly (Arm or other versions)
High Performance Computing (HPC)
Low level knowledge of processors (Nvidia, Arm, AMD, Intel, GPUs, etc.)
Performance engineering
Optimizing machine learning frameworks (Tensorflow, Pytorch)
Video codecs
Cloud software products (development, hosting, load balancing, performance, frameworks, etc.)
Applicants can be based anywhere in the US although there is a slight preference for major tech hubs. You must be authorized to work in the US. Relocation is available if you would prefer to work in Silicon Valley, Austin, or Seattle.
Bulleted Requirements:
-BS degree
-At least 8-9 years of experience preferred.
-Expert in C/C++ or Java
-Assembly a plus
-Specialization in cloud software, video codecs, machine learning, or other high performance areas is preferred.
-History of stable employment.
-Authorized to work in US.
