We cannot guarantee the shift that a new hire will be on; they will bid on open jobs on their 1st day. Most new hires should expect that the open jobs will be on 2nd and 3rd shift
Starting pay is $29.91/hour. 2nd and 3rd shift receive an additional $1.50 differential
We are running a hiring bonus program, so all Maintenance Techs who start after 9/1/2021 will eligible to receive a $1500 bonus (50% payable after 90 days, 50% payable after 180 days)
All employees who are benefit eligible can enroll on their 1st day. There is no waiting period for benefits enrollment
Minimum Requirements:
Must have a high school diploma, GED or GED equivalent and
Certified Journeyman with 2 or more years of experience in one of the following trades: Electrical or Mechanical, OR
Associates Degree or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical field with at least 2 years of current hands-on working experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment, OR
Technical training with military service and 5 years’ experience in general maintenance in an industrial/manufacturing environment
Possess experience working with 480V, 220V, 120V, and low volt DC electrical controls and systems and the ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
Proven ability to work with these factors:
Prolonged standing, frequently handling various parts for assembly, frequent walking, reaching at waist level, pushing/pulling, grasping/squeezing, pinching
Have fine motor dexterity, neck flexion, and be able to use air tools
Be able to reach overhead, reach at shoulder level, reach at knee and floor level
Bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, crawling, ladder/stair climbing, pivoting, twisting, neck extension/rotation, shoulder circumduction, lying supine and using vibratory tools also required
Handling and lifting of parts and/or equipment (lifting minimum of 86 lbs., carrying 62 lbs., and pushing/pulling, 75 lbs. required)
Perform work in a loud/noisy environment
Change shifts and work overtime and weekends, as required
Work with parts/equipment which may be hot, cold, and/or wet
Work outside in all weather conditions and work at heights
Use a wide range of powered tools and hand tools and vibratory tools/equipment
