Maintenance Technician

• We cannot guarantee the shift that a new hire will be on; they will bid on open jobs on their 1^st day.  Most new hires should expect that the open jobs will be on 2^nd and 3^rd shift
• Starting pay is $29.91/hour.  2^nd and 3^rd shift receive an additional $1.50 differential
• We are running a hiring bonus program, so all Maintenance Techs who start after 9/1/2021 will eligible to receive a $1500 bonus (50% payable after 90 days, 50% payable after 180 days)
• All employees who are benefit eligible can enroll on their 1^st day.  There is no waiting period for benefits enrollment

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma, GED or GED equivalent and
• Certified Journeyman with 2 or more years of experience in one of the following trades: Electrical or Mechanical, OR
• Associates Degree or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical field with at least 2 years of current hands-on working experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment, OR
• Technical training with military service and 5 years’ experience in general maintenance in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Possess experience working with 480V, 220V, 120V, and low volt DC electrical controls and systems and the ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics

• Proven ability to work with these factors:
  • Prolonged standing, frequently handling various parts for assembly, frequent walking, reaching at waist level, pushing/pulling, grasping/squeezing, pinching
  • Have fine motor dexterity, neck flexion, and be able to use air tools
  • Be able to reach overhead, reach at shoulder level, reach at knee and floor level
  • Bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, crawling, ladder/stair climbing, pivoting, twisting, neck extension/rotation, shoulder circumduction, lying supine and using vibratory tools also required
  • Handling and lifting of parts and/or equipment (lifting minimum of 86 lbs., carrying 62 lbs., and pushing/pulling, 75 lbs. required)
• Perform work in a loud/noisy environment
• Change shifts and work overtime and weekends, as required
• Work with parts/equipment which may be hot, cold, and/or wet
• Work outside in all weather conditions and work at heights
• Use a wide range of powered tools and hand tools and vibratory tools/equipment
