Join a 65-year-old privately owned manufacturer keenly focused on growing the company and cultivating its highly valued 2000 employees. The Manufacturing (Industrial) Engineer will interact with all levels of the plant (management, supervisors, and hourly employees) in communication and capability building.
Implement Lean Methodologies, systems, and tools.
Use Lean tools to support project ideation and diagnostics and to track projects for visibility.
Provide tracking and regular communication for various plant functions and teams regarding Manufacturing Reliability progresses.
Facilitate Continuous Improvement projects with production teams.
Drive losses to zero using Statistical Process Control, Six Sigma and other Lean principles
Utilize LEAN systems and tools to deliver a reduction in breakdowns
Identify and implement technology improvements.
Maintains manufacturing operations by following and enforcing standards and procedures and good manufacturing practices
Maintains quality manufacturing standards by completing production control charts; reporting quality data; analyzing recordings and statistics; studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or closely related Engineering Degree
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
4 Years’ minimum experience in a related engineering role.
