We are currently seeking a National Sales Manager for a manufacturing client of ours. You will be responsible for overseeing and developing a sales team to drive company revenue. Previous steel or industrial sales management background a must. Ideal candidate will be strongly versed at leading, training, motivating and coaching a sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the sales team activities
- Establish sales territories, quotas, and goals for the sales team
- Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of improvement
- Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting
- Report on team and individual performance
- Develop and execute innovative sales strategies
- Build and form new partnerships with potential clients
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related field
- Experience as a supervisor or manager
- Steel or industrial sales management background experience a must
- Prior experience supervising and managing over 10 sales reps
- Must have a good understanding of relationship sales.
- Must have experience hiring other sales reps
- Must demonstrate ability to train distance selling
- Familiarity with CRM platforms
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to build rapport with clients
