Production Supervisor

Growing custom automation company that engineers and designs custom machinery has a great opportunity for a Manufacturing / Production Leader.  The company uses CNC milling, grinding, turning, wire EDM, and fabrication processes. The Manufacturing / Production Leader will work with engineering and manufacturing personnel to meet customer requirements and will focus on machining, assembly, and engineering / R&D. Experience with CAM or writing G Code required along with the ability to use Microsoft products including Teams.

• Responsible for the performance of the machine shop and the efficient operations of the CNC Mills, Grinders, EDM’s and other equipment used
• Use CAM Techniques based primarily on the Autodesk Inventor CAM functions as well as MasterCAM
• Responsible for the build/assembly and project debug functions in support of the service function and engineering
• Document methods used to ensure compliance
• Program machines as needed
• Work cooperatively with the employees
• Do whatever it takes to support the company and its objectives

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience running a machine shop
• CAM experience
• Ability to write G-Code manually or with program
• Experience with automation components is a plus
• Solid background in machining methods and techniques including proper tooling selection and job setup
• Experience in automation build, assembly, and debug preferred
• Understanding precision measuring techniques and methods
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications including Teams
