Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary:
This is a line level manager position reporting to the Director of Operations. This position will oversee all activities for Quality Assurance of product and processes
developed to meet manufacturing objectives. Primary responsibilities include; ensuring internal quality policies are compliant with current customer requirements,
oversee the implementation of procedures required to comply with those policies, maintain or improve customer satisfaction levels related to quality performance and
assist in the development of Lean Manufacturing principles, policies and procedures to promote reduction of waste, continuous improvement and goal achievement
for customer and organizational performance measurables. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

1.    Assists in guiding teams to ensure compliance to required customer standards and, that corporate quality objectives are met.
2.    Assists in developing and implementing organizational lean manufacturing and quality initiatives to increase operational efficiencies.
3.    Manages and evaluates the Quality Assurance department to ensure appropriate training and consistency in the inspection processes. Works with the
Manufacturing Manager to reduce quality defects and scrap.

5. Serves as the primary contact for all IATF and ISO related audits and activities. Ensures that organizational systems and processes meet the requirements of our
customers, the industries served, and the standards to which the organization subscribes.
Experience:
The incumbent must have well-developed organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills in interacting with management, line level staff, suppliers,
and customers. Proficient with window based personal computers and related software. Experience with organizational ERP system, preferred.

Education:
High school diploma, required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business or three years relevant work experience, preferred.
