Certified or non-certified surgical tech
•Shift: 4×10’s Days (Mon-Fri 1100-2130); every other holiday
•Call: 6-8 calls shifts every 6 weeks
Minimum Requirements:
•2 years of experience as a surgical tech
•Large Hospital experience (Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience required)
•BLS (AHA) certification
•Must have ortho, neuro, robotics, Gyn, Urology and Plastics experience
POSITION:
The Surgical Technologist and/or the Certified Surgical Technologist prepares the room and gathers supplies needed for surgical procedures; delivers instruments to the surgeon and other members of the surgical team intra operatively; may function as second assistant to the surgeon; assists in the proper decontamination of the room, supplies and instruments post operatively.
Candidate must have experience scrubbing GYN, General, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma. Vascular experience preferred as well. The department consists of 20 OR suites and an average volume or census of approximately 50. Hospital will provide a locker and scrubs. General, trauma, and ortho experts are the top priority.
Level 1 trauma center that is open 24/7. Must be able to scrub General, plastics, ortho, neuro, gyn, robotics, and urology. We have specialty teams that cover hearts, vascular, eyes, and crani’s.
