A growing leader in the building products industry that makes customizable solutions is looking for a Vice President of Sales for North America. The product has a technology component that means there is a continuing relationship aspect after the sale. We need a “Professional Sales Manager” who can drive sales and the lead customer success strategy. Analyze the data and use quantitative skills to create meaning and build a marketing plan. The products offer an automated service system for the multifamily industry (apartments, condos, multiple living facilities, dorms, and retirement communities) and are sold directly to end-users (no dealers or distributors).Responsibilities:

  • Leadership of sales and customer success strategy
  • Drive sales by ensuring both ongoing and recurring revenue streams from existing accounts as well as building new business with new customers
  • Determine and implement the optimal sales organization. Review assess and act to create a coverage model that maximizes the potential in each market
  • Leader of go-to-market strategies
  • Building strong, trusted-advisor type relationships with key customers and uncovering underlying needs that enable proactive identification of additional sales opportunities
  • Drive successful field engagement and rollout
  • Ensure a profitable business, contracts signed collectively meets or exceeds revenue, profitability, and client satisfaction expectations
  • Proactively troubleshoot issues and manage customer expectations  
  • Drive profitable growth by generating sales at existing and potential customers in new sectors
  • Develop and implement customer success strategies, processes, and best practices
  • Build a culture focused around customer-centricity, performance, and accountability

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10 years’ experience running sales/customer organizations in the services industry
  • Experience at a senior level with P&L experience preferred
  • Multi-family industry sales and service background preferred but not required.
  • 5 years’ experience managing a sales team that sells direct to customer
  • P&L experience
