As an Inside Sales Engineer you will play a pivotal role in driving positive sales opportunities with both new and existing accounts. Your responsibilities will include effective communication with potential and established clients to maintain and enhance revenue growth. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating attention to detail while working on diverse projects. Your commitment to fostering long-term customer relationships and ensuring their success through ongoing support will be a key driver of your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively pursue new sales opportunities through email, telephone, and virtual meetings via Microsoft Teams.
  • Analyze client needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
  • Coordinate the processing of all sales orders by directing them to the Customer Service team.
  • Ensure timely resolution of quality issues by directing them to the Customer Service team, with meticulous documentation of pertinent information.
  • Stay updated on products, services, competitive activities, and industry trends.
  • Attend tradeshows and customer-facing events as required.
  • Maintain a regular schedule of customer visits.
  • Continuously enhance professional and technical knowledge through workshops, research, publications, networking, and participation in professional societies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Some level of sales experience, preferably in a specialized manufacturing setting, with an emphasis on customer relations.
  • Two (2) plus years of experience in prospecting and selling capital equipment is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce or a similar CRM system, as well as Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license, as travel may be required.
  • Participation in safety training and certifications provided by the Company or customers may be required.
