Growing Manufacturing Co in the Cookeville, TN area has a need for a Sr Manufacturing Engineer. This is a direct hire role with a full benefits package and relocation. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes and ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in our production line. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and utilize your technical expertise to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to improve productivity and reduce costs
- Identify and resolve production issues, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime
- Design and optimize production layouts, equipment, and tooling to maximize efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new product launches
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality and process-related issues
- Evaluate and select suppliers, ensuring the highest quality standards are met
- Participate in the development and implementation of lean manufacturing principles
- Provide technical support and guidance to production operators and maintenance teams
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and apply them to enhance our manufacturing processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and welding
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and other engineering tools
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
