Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer III to lead the design, development, and optimization of high-performance electric submersible motors for subsea applications. This role is perfect for an experienced engineer passionate about innovation and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design and development of electric submersible motors, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and harsh environment resistance.
- Conduct thermal, vibration, and structural analyses for design optimization.
- Innovate using new materials, manufacturing techniques, and cost-saving strategies.
- Oversee product testing, validation, and compliance with industry standards.
- Perform root cause analysis on product failures and develop solutions.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and electrical teams for seamless integration.
- Utilize Autodesk Inventor for design and mentor junior engineers.
- Lead the design of custom machinery, jigs, and fixtures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s or PhD preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in submersible motors or rotating equipment.
- Expertise in Autodesk Inventor and ERP systems like Epicor.
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as NEMA MG-1, API, IEC.
