We’re hiring a Production Manager to join a privately held, multi-generational company known for high-integrity craftsmanship and continuous improvement. The business is growing, but not at the cost of its culture. They need a leader who can drive performance while preserving legacy.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a production team across machining, fabrication, assembly, and finishing

• Drive shop floor execution and continuous improvement in a job-shop environment

• Use ERP systems to manage scheduling, inventory, and labor tracking (Syspro or similar)

• Collaborate with engineering and sales to ensure feasibility, timing, and profitability

• Champion cross-training, communication, and accountability across departments

• Analyze capacity and workflow to inform capital equipment and staffing decisions

• Maintain safety, quality, and on-time delivery standards in a dynamic, custom setting

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership (supervisor, foreman, or manager level)

• Strong knowledge of CNC machining, welding, press brake, laser/plasma cutting, and related processes

• Comfortable in low-volume, high-mix production settings (job shop or custom fabrication)

• Hands-on leadership style with strong floor presence and people skills

• Experience using ERP systems for scheduling and shop operations (Syspro a plus)

• Proven ability to stabilize teams, implement process improvements, and lead with empathy
