Production Manager

Location: Near Allentown, PA
Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 base + bonus and comprehensive benefits

This established and growing custom manufacturer is seeking a Production Manager to lead its shop operations, bring modern processes and accountability to the floor, and guide a skilled workforce through an important phase of growth and cultural transformation.

With a team of welders, fabricators, painters, and finishers reporting through shop leads and a foreman, this role is pivotal in ensuring productivity, safety, and quality while shaping the culture of the operation for years to come.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop shop leads, foreman, and a team of skilled tradespeople.

• Implement safety protocols, compliance standards, and accountability systems.

• Plan and oversee daily production schedules to meet customer requirements.

• Monitor productivity, quality, and costs to achieve department goals.

• Partner with leadership on budgeting and P&L responsibility.

• Foster strong communication and collaboration across operations, parts, and administration.

• Champion continuous improvement and help move the operation into its next phase of growth.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in production or operations leadership, ideally in a job-shop, custom build, or industrial manufacturing environment.

• Track record of implementing processes, safety standards, and accountability systems.

• Skilled at balancing hands-on floor presence with strategic responsibilities.

• Strong leadership and change management abilities, with a collaborative and coaching style.

• Experience with welding or fabrication environments is highly preferred, though not required.
