We have partnered with a Manufacturer in Florence KY to lead a search for a Newly Created Customer Service Administrator role
Customer Service Administrator
- Provides technical support to our customers and are expected to develop a working knowledge of our core products.
- Professionally represent the company to our customers with the knowledge and skills to provide them the product or service they need.
- There a 95/5 split between office work and warehouse requirements that includes inventory counts, organization, and shipping orders as needed.
- Issue quotes with appropriate lead times
- Receive customer orders
- Communicate the scheduling of production
- Assist with packing of outbound product, and stocking of inbound items.
- Communicate with sales force and customers daily.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries, provide quotes, and take customer orders
- Negotiate sale and purchase prices
- Proactively generate sales and promote company products
- Support outside sales representatives
- Expedite back-orders
- Assist with pulling inventory, preparing shipments, and updating inventory levels
- Assist with customer returns
- Interact with customers and suppliers to obtain and fill orders correctly
- Troubleshoot customer concerns.
Job Requirements:
- Excellent customer service, and communication skills
- Reliable, organized, detailed, and focused
- Industrial or mechanical product sales experienced preferred
- Comfortable with common business software such as Microsoft office applications, MS Excel, Gmail.
- Ability to use basic computer applications and have efficient typing skills that allows for rapid e-mail communication
- User level experience with ERP systems such as QuickBooks, SAP, e-commerce admin and common business practices such as customer account management, inventory updates and material planning
- Must be available for standard daytime business hours (M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST)
