Our client is a leading Long Island-based law firm specializing in Elder Care and Estate Administrative Planning

They are seeking a client-focused Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers. This role is critical to maintaining a professional office environment while supporting attorneys and staff with administrative and clerical tasks.

Main Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors warmly and professionally
  • Manage incoming phone calls, screen calls, and route messages accurately
  • Schedule and confirm client appointments
  • Always maintain client confidentiality
  • Manage reception area appearance and overall office presentation
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and couriers
  • Maintain office calendars and conference room scheduling
  • Order office supplies and coordinate basic office needs
  • Assist with client intake and data entry
  • Prepare, scan, copy, and file legal documents
  • Maintain electronic and physical filing systems
  • Support attorneys, paralegals, and staff with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent (college degree is a plus)
  • Prior receptionist or front desk experience (law firm or professional office preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary is between 55-60K + bonus and solid benefits
