Job Description – Sales
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
· Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
· Be knowledgeable about the product
· Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems
· Answer questions about the products
· Negotiate prices and terms
· Collaborate with colleagues in different sectors
· Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
· Review customers credit status and collect monies owed.
· Complete Administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:·
· Must be at least 21 years of age.
· Bachelors’ degree or equivalent work experience.
· 1-2 years of industry related sales experience within the distribution or supplier community.
· Must provide own transportation, valid Driver’s License and current insurance
· Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
· Must possess strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills and social perceptiveness.
· Ability to work in a team environment and to manage multiple tasks.
· Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams and electronic mail proficiency.
· Goal oriented, focused, and possess the ability to excel with minimal supervision.
· Self-Motivated to maintain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
