Job Summary:

Are you a Sales Manager who is ready to take your career to the next level? Our client is a growing custom automation company looking for a leader to join our team and lead sales functions. As a Sales Manager, you will be the conduit between the customer and Engineering, and have a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. You will have the opportunity to lead the marketing effort which includes advertising, trade show preparation and attendance, website updates and development, and social media presence.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the sales process from lead generation to concept development collaboration to quote generation to follow-up and closing. You will closely collaborate with Engineering to support concept development for special projects and custom equipment. Additionally, you will coordinate all marketing activities including advertising, social media, web development, and direct marketing, and support R&D, Engineering, and Service as required. You will also be responsible for developing and managing all sales representatives.

Qualifications:

  • BS in engineering or a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Engineered-to-order and manufacturing sales experience
  • Strong technical understanding and appreciation of manufacturing systems
  • Experience coordinating all marketing activities
  • Experience managing sales reps
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and OneNote

Location:
Located in Romulus, MI, a community known for its strong sense of community and friendly residents. It is about a half-hour drive to Detroit.

Compensation:
This is an opportunity that comes with top-notch healthcare and benefits with a base salary of $80K – $120K base & bonus. Relocation may be offered for the right person.
