We have partnered with a Premier Employer in Northern Kentucky to lead a search for their Sr. Human Resource Generalist role.

Position Description:

The Senior Human Resources Generalist will take direction from the Director of HR in support of HR functions. The primary functions of this role are to process bi-weekly salary payroll, administer employee benefits, recruitment of salary employees, and employee relations. Assist in the development and implementation of a solid recruitment program as well as coordinate and find resources for training.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

· Experience with processing payroll

· Experience with complex employee relations

· Experience in a manufacturing setting

· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

· Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other related field preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete the bi-weekly salary payroll and all relevant reporting
  • Benefit administration for new hires and existing employees
  • Recruiting for salary associates
  • Responsible for annual open enrollment
  • Responsible for processing attendance, monthly performance evaluations, and corrective counseling
  • Partner with operations to resolve employee relations issues including conducting investigations and assist with employee relations counseling, escalating any complex issues to the Director of HR
  • Act as SME for Paycor/HRIS system
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of recruiting and retention strategies
  • Assist with initiatives that support positive employee engagement and culture
  • Partner with Director of HR to review, update, and communicate human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other federal regulations
  • Partner with Director of HR and operations in the creation and implementation of a training and development program
  • Compile and report relevant HR metrics to Director of HR
  • Assist in establishing a culture of openness, honesty, and integrity through solid associate relation practices and communication by supporting fair and consistent practices
  • Assist with completion of required reports such as ACA, FAS, and EEOC
  • Other duties as assigned
