Key Responsibilities
As a Superintendent, you’ll be on the front lines of project execution—responsible for site coordination, schedule adherence, safety enforcement, and quality assurance.
- Lead day-to-day on-site construction operations
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and trades
- Manage schedules, inspections, materials, and logistics
- Maintain safe, clean, and well-organized job sites
- Conduct and document progress meetings
- Collaborate with the Project Manager on budgets, cost controls, and contracts
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, SWPPP, and company protocols
What We’re Looking For
- ✅ 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
- ✅ Strong knowledge of Retail Big Box Construction – ground up experience and/or remodel experience. For those with just the remodel side, should have experience in total remodel work and preferably doing additions.
- ✅ Walmart and Sams project experience is a major plus – but will also look at othe big box retail
- ✅ Comfortable with scheduling, quality control, subcontractor management
- ✅ OSHA 30 Certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
- ✅ SWPPP Certification (preferred)
- ✅ Proficient in MS Office; WRIKE and FieldWire familiarity a bonus
- ✅ Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- ✅ Willingness to travel and manage out-of-town projects as needed
