We have partnered with an Industry Leading Printing Company in the Northern KY Area to lead a search for their Night Shift Printing Supervisor.

Night Shift Printing Supervisor (job description)

This is a 12-hour night shift (7:00pm to 7:00am) with a 2-2-3 shift break down. You would work about 15 days per month.

Position Description:

· Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the department’s shift

· Responsible for Safety, Product Quality, Material Waste, and Labor.

· Also, involved in Strategic Planning, Budgeting, Capital Investment, and Organizational Development

Experience with the following preferred:

· 8 color flexographic wide web printing press.

· 7.5-ton overhead crane.

· Core baler.

· Safety knife, basic hand tools.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Operational responsibility for the department. Directs and leads the department to meet objectives: 25 people report to this role.

· Responsible for operating cost of the shift.

· Supervises associates and others in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws

· Manage and implement safety initiatives

· Ensure quality standards are being met

· Create a culture which encourages participation, innovation, and process improvement. Foster an environment of commitment and teamwork

· Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers

· Instill a culture of openness, honesty, integrity through solid associate relation practices and communication

Key Performance Metrics:

· Spoilage

· Labor

· Safety

· Operating Budget

· CCN (Target – internal / external)

· Inventory (accuracy > 99%)

· Review each of the above as information made available (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.).

· Develop action plans to improve moving forward.
