This role focuses on managing supply chain operations across North and South America, with collaboration extending globally. The Supply Chain Specialist oversees various aspects of the shipping process, ensuring seamless coordination with internal departments, customers, and external partners. Responsibilities include tracking shipments, liaising with customs agents for international deliveries, and optimizing inventory management across warehouses and manufacturing facilities in the USA, prioritizing strategies such as FIFO (First In, First Out).


·       Supervise shipping processes, customs clearance, and timely delivery to final destinations.

·       Manage documentation accuracy and communicate deviations in delivery schedules.

·       Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including customers, authorities, and internal teams.

·       Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries.

·       Provide proactive advice and status updates on import/export and domestic shipments.

·       Monitor and optimize cost and freight margins, ensuring correct invoicing to customers.

·       Verify accuracy of received freight invoices and maintain updated freight costs in transport records.

·       Implement forecasting and tracking tools for inventory management, ensuring adherence to FIFO principles.

·       Maintain safety stock levels in compliance with company fiduciary requirements.



·       Bachelor’s Degree in transportation, logistics, international business, or relevant field.

·       Proficiency in logistics processes, including understanding of transportation modes, Incoterms, and required documentation.

·       Familiarity with FIFO strategies and inventory management principles.

·       Knowledge of import/export requirements, including HS codes and customs clearance.

·       Understanding of standard regulations governing domestic and international protocols.

·       Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

·       Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.

·       High attention to detail and accuracy.

·       Demonstrated drive and commitment to achieving objectives.

·       Proficiency in English (oral and written); proficiency in Spanish is a plus..
